Adopt a Spaniel / Retriever / Mixed (medium coat)

Spaniel / Retriever / Mixed (medium coat) Dog

Champ the Dog needs a home

CHAMP IS CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN OBEDIENCE SCHOOL AND WILL NOT BE READY TO GO HOME UNTIL APRIL. APPLICATIONS STILL BEING ACCEPTED.

Champ is just what his name says he is "A CHAMP". He was born around January 2015. Champ was found by a volunteer tied to the wooden railing of the shelter driveway one morning. He had mange and open sores all over his body and endured months of special baths and medications. Not once did he growl or snap at anybody even though he had to be in pain. Now, months later his coat has all grown in and he is mange free.  He is housebroken and crate trained, and will sit and shake both paws for a cookie. He loves people and enjoys going for walks and chewing on his nylabone. We are accepting applications now at www.lifelongfriends.org/adoptions. Please note you must live in Texas to adopt Champ and all family members must meet him before being approved.
